한국플루트학회는 전통적으로 알려진 플루트곡에서부터 생소하고 난해한 현대곡에 이르기까지 다양한 장르의 곡들에 대한 음악적 정보와 지식을 함께 고유하고 연구함으로서 순수한 학문으로서의 플루트 음악을 발전시킬 목적으로 창단되었다.

Korea Flute Society(KFS) was founded with a goal to academically research and share information on genres ranging from traditional past times to new compositions for the development of Flute music.

한국 플루트계의 발전을 위해 자라나고 있는 꿈나무들인 중·고등학생과 대학생에게도 세계적인 거장들의 레슨과 연주를 엿볼 수 있는 기회를 제공하여 실력향상과 더불어 더 나은 미래를 꿈꿀 수 있는 일에도 힘쓰고 있다.

We are also working hard to provide a brighter future, growth, and improvement in skill for flute students ranging in all ages by providing lessons with great artist form all over the world.

끊임없이 연구하는 열정과 조전정신을 가진 신인연주자들을 발굴하여 연주기회를 제공하는 신인음악회, 선의의 경쟁을 도모하고 자신의 실력을 발휘할 수 있는 콩쿨과 학생과 교수진이 함께 배우고 공부하는 행복과 즐거움이 있는 음악캠프등을 진행할 것이다.

We will strive to promote musical development in Korea with original, innovative, and experimental performances, and have harmonious exchange within the educational system, through a profound knwledge of the direction and flow classical music in Korea is headewith a deeper research in flute music that is continually changing.
